Pictures of Poodles
The Unknown Rockstar continues his exploration of the drone and the echo, using guitar, keyboard and electronics to build rippled and whorled sound tapestries that distort and fragment around the listener. He investigates the tension between static repetition and change in these evolutionary pieces. Sometimes subtle, sometimes forceful, but always with a melodic underpinning that results in beauty seeping through the crunch of these pieces.
